Our School & Community Work
Mentor Seattle’s School & Community Programs are designed to uplift participants with culturally grounded, trauma-informed mentorship that fosters self-awareness, confidence, leadership, and support systems. These initiatives meet individuals where they are—whether re-entering society, navigating adolescence, or seeking personal growth—and provide transformational learning environments.
The Rich Brilliant Minds Program is a 12-week personal development journey designed to empower youth with the tools, confidence, and knowledge to become their best selves. Through engaging discussions, hands-on learning, and mentorship, participants will explore identity, emotional growth, etiquette, leadership, and life skills essential for success in the real world.
Suit Up teaches participants about the four primary personality types, helping them understand their strengths, communication preferences, and leadership styles. By fostering self-knowledge, participants develop strategies to work effectively with diverse individuals and teams.
Etiquette learning for young men builds confidence, respect, and social awareness—equipping them with essential skills for professional settings, relationships, and community engagement.
This free 10-week program is designed for individuals re- entering the community or exploring entrepreneurship for the first time. Participants will gain the tools, knowledge, and one-on-one support needed to turn their ideas into real, sustainable businesses — from concept to launch.

Participants in Fresh Start and Suit Up deepen their self-awareness, understanding their motivations and interpersonal strengths. These insights translate into better decision-making, peer relationships, and leadership capacities.
Through F.A.C.T.S and Mentor Self-Improvement, participants strengthen their abilities to lead, facilitate, and engage in meaningful dialogue. These skills increase opportunities in education, employment, and community leadership.
U.N.I.T.E and re-entry services give returning citizens foundational support for integration. By connecting mentorship to real-world planning and community networks, participants gain the tools to build stable, purposeful futures and reduce chances of re-offending.
